Established in 2006, A Very Merry Kyle Moreland Christmas Concert has been surprising & delighting holiday concertgoers of all ages for nearly 2 decades. Topeka singer-songwriter Kyle Moreland took his love of the Christmas season (and it’s big ol’, weird/wonderful songbook of musical traditions) and harnessed the magic and wonder that seems to live in the air come December.
Over the years, his band of faithful musical Merrymakers has continually grown to include a rockin’ 10+ minstrels with special guest singers jumping onstage throughout the evening. The show offers 2+ hours of uniquely-reimagined classic faves, diamond-in-the-rough modern Christmas covers, and Kyle’s own original holiday tunes. Your new favorite seasonal sound might just be waiting for you on this year’s setlist!

But, of course, this isn’t just your typical concert… it’s a full blown magical holiday experience! The surprises abound with an always entertaining White Elephant Raffle and a steady stream of whimsical guest appearances from a host of child-friendly characters. The snowflakes will fly and even the livestock will start to croon (and probably dance, too)!
Deck yourself out in your finest (or most absurd) holiday themed attire and bring the whole fam out to the Foundry for a very merry evening of holiday cheer… for a good cause!

When a global pandemic shuts down live entertainment for a couple of years, what’s an annual Christmas Concert to do!? Well, this one got weird and creative… and brought the Very Merry to the masses.
Filmed during the pandemic holiday seasons of 2020 & 2021, Kyle and his merry band of music makers beamed all the joy, laughter, tunes (and livestock) of their annual concert safely into viewer’s homes! Tune in to revisit this full-length, magical, heartwarming holiday special in Very Merry Kyle Moreland style!

Over almost two decades, we’ve played a BUNCH of Christmas music at this concert.
On top of Kyle’s original tunes and funktified carol arrangements we’ve dived deep into the great Christmas songbook to cover the traditional, the classic, the unique and more than occasionally: the down-right oddball and obscure! We love it all!
